IDENTITY DILEMMA AND A GOOD DAY’S WORK AT THE FESTIVAL OF SLOVENIAN FILM

Feature films “Identity Dilemma” and “A Good Day’s Work” were selected into a competition program of the 22nd edition of the Festival of Slovenian Film.

A Good Day’s Work by Martin Turk will have its festival screening on September 18th and begin its nationwide distribution across cinemas on November 6th. This social drama about a caring husband and father who is searching for employment, was a co-production between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey and Slovenia (Bela film).

A documentary film Identity Dilemma by writer-director Sabrina Moreno will also have its festival screening on September 8th. The film captures a journey between past and present, at the Italian borders of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, discovering stories of women who fought for the confirmation of their identities at the fall of the empire. “Identity Dilemma” had its nationwide distribution in March 2019, with a special screening on March 8th honouring the International Woman’s Day. The film was produced by Bela film and co-produced by RTV Slovenia and Quasar Multimedia (Italy).
